IACAIP Shielded Surveillance & Maintenance®
IACAIP Shielded Surveillance & Maintenance® is the annual monitoring and maintenance process for organisations holding active IACAIP Shielded Certified® status. The programme verifies continued conformity with applicable IACAIP® Shielded Framework™ requirements and supports the continued validity of certified status between formal certification and recertification cycles.
Purpose
- Continued Certified Status — maintenance of active IACAIP Shielded Certified® status.
- Ongoing Conformity — review of continued conformity with applicable IACAIP® Shielded Framework™ requirements.
- Change & Risk Review — assessment of significant organisational, technology, cybersecurity, AI governance and regulatory changes.
- Evidence Maintenance — review of selected evidence and records demonstrating continued implementation and operation of applicable controls.
Annual surveillance may include
- Organisational status and scope review
- Review of significant organisational changes
- Selected control and evidence sampling
- Cybersecurity and AI governance updates
- Review of significant incidents or nonconformities
- Review of corrective actions
- Regulatory and risk-change review
- Assessor findings and recommendations
- Confirmation of continued conformity
The scope and depth of surveillance are determined by the applicable IACAIP® certification rules and the organisation's certified scope.

- Online, remote evidence review, interview and/or approved assessment environment, as applicable.
- Assessment Basis
- Evidence-based review against applicable IACAIP® Shielded Framework™ certification requirements.
- Outcome
- Continued active certified status, subject to satisfactory completion of the applicable surveillance requirements.

Organisations holding active IACAIP Shielded Certified® status that are required to demonstrate continued conformity and maintain their certification between formal certification and recertification cycles.

Annual Fixed Price
For the standard applicable surveillance scope. Additional fees may apply where the certified scope, organisational complexity or required assessment activity exceeds the standard surveillance scope.
